As you heard in this week’s Countway Library town hall, we are awaiting a message from Harvard University and Harvard Medical School regarding revised COVID-19 guidelines as a result of the recent changes within the Commonwealth’s COVID-19 protocols announced by the Governor last week. The opening team is preparing for a more robust opening of the library sooner than anticipated, but awaiting further direction and approvals given the lifting of the state public health emergency status in mid-June. The announcement regarding changes to existing Harvard University and HMS protocols is expected after this holiday weekend/early next week.
I hope you can take the time this weekend to relax and unwind. As you know, we are, and continue to be, in a constantly fluid and changing environment. Whatever information is received, will be shared and we will pivot to meet the expanded needs of our community.
