We are delighted to announce the following title changes for three of our Countway colleagues. The title changes (and appointment reclassifications) acknowledge the full scope of the work these individuals perform and recognize their considerable contributions to Countway.
Effective immediately:
- Dominic Hall’s new title is Manager, Curation and Stewardship, Anatomy and Artifact Collections. This reflects the reality that Dominic’s role has grown significantly as he handles the acquisitions, collections management, and research and instruction for the anatomical, object, artifact, and specimen collections for all three schools on the Longwood campus, not just for the Warren Anatomical Museum collection. It also serves to acknowledge the expertise inherent to the stewardship of a complex historic anatomical teaching collection.
- Jessica Murphy’s new title is Manager, Research and Instruction, Special Collections and Archives. This demonstrates her leadership role in supervising and delivering reference and especially her increased responsibilities in instructional services to a broad community of special collections and archives users, including Longwood Campus faculty, students, staff, members of the greater Harvard University community, and the general public.
- Meredith Solomon’s new title is Manager, Outreach and Public Services. Meredith founded the Outreach Department in 2017, and this new title reflects her increased responsibility in managing the new Information Desk services as well as managing the Outreach Coordinator and the LHT staff that cover the library entrances when the Info Desk is closed.
Please join us in congratulating Dominic, Jess, and Meredith!
